Washington PCT 2015: Day 17

Looking north
Day 17 was a tough one. Laura was hurting more and more. Her knees in particularly were starting to hurt. At the beginning of the day, we hoped to hike a long day and arrive at Snoqualmie Pass in the evening. However, as the morning drew on the pain increased.

Trees forever
After 14 miles of hiking, we arrived at Stirrup Creek. It was still pretty early in the day but Laura was really hurting a lot. So we decided to take a long break. We ate, washed clothes, and soaked our feet. After a couple hours we decided that we should just camp in a nearby campsite. We had a wonderful relaxing evening. We were excited to arrive at Snoqualmie Pass the next day!
